The night has grown quiet
and my soul is awake
My Love beckons
I feel it
but I haven’t answered.
I forget during the busy day ,
all that He is to me
but in the quiet night
My love for Him awakens
it grows and it over flows .
it is the purest moments of life.
The reason,
my hope of eternity.
He calls
I hear Him
and I crawl to Him
not being worthy
He calls
He draws near
He holds me
and my soul is awakened
I see life
and all it could be
The morn draws near
I must bring all He has given me
to the day’s work.
But I’m afraid I might not hear His call or feel Him draw nearer.
For my Soul to awaken.
