Siblings , sometimes our older parents children of which we are among , or maybe like me , our parents younger children , or maybe in many beautiful cases, those people who have proved to be closer to us than the ties of blood and family.

You know as a big sister of 6 children ( 3 boys and 3 girls ) btw the ages of 13 – 5 . I often wonder how things would look , when they all grow up , becoming their own persons. I mean for the time being I’m offered so much attention . I am often the one who breaks off the fight ,the one they complain too , the one they run too with so much excitement to share their experiences, the one who fulfills the role of parents when our Parents are off attending to our needs. ( To be honest ) I try to soak in all I can in the moment knowing that soon , they will grow into teenagers and soon into adults.

To all the siblings we love , who are not particularly our blood relations . There will always be moments when you cannot be together or do things in common with your close friends . Sometimes , life likes to separate us due to different ideologies , passing of our friends or something. I like to think that my best friend , Anne , will always be a sibling to me no matter where life takes us . Our little time together will never be taken away from either of us , and though from time to time our connection may differ , we will always be connected, if not for anything but for the Love , Care and memories we share.

I mean “They will always be my siblings” no matter what, it’s among the few things that life can’t take away from me or change.

So , I came up with this piece , to sort of comfort other siblings especially older siblings like myself who sort of will miss the little beautiful memories and to all those who have lost a sibling. Know this , they will always be your siblings , no matter the distance , the misunderstanding , the difference lifestyle. Directly or indirectly it will always be You and your siblings against the world. You will always be connected to them and that’s what matters.
